I have had a 91/30 for 2 years now. I thought I had removed all that thick cosmoline off. But when I shoot about 10 rds in arow it gums up and get hard to work the action. Anyone have any expirence in this. Betterways to remove?

Hmm. Not much info here, but your problem doesn't sound like a cosmoline issue - more like a lacquer build-up from ammo issue.
I've had a LOT of Mosins since the late '80s, and have never had cosmo gum up the action, though I've probably cleaned a cubic foot of the stuff off various guns. I've known folks to actually attach a (brass!) chamber brush to a drill to get the lacquer build-up out of their chambers. Might be you need to inspect that area and devote more attention to cleaning it.

Ya I had a similar issue with the lacquer build up. If the action is to stiff or you just want it smoother, and have access to a dremel tool, Just use the felt tips with polishing compound and do a good polish on the disassembled bolt and chamber. That has helped mine out a lot. Even when shooting high volumes of ammo.

I agree with the lacquer and chamber. The cosmoline will continue to ooze from places for years, especially when it is warm. JEFF

Yeah my Mosin bled cosmoline from the stock for years when it'd get hot from firing. It'd look like it was sweating. Probably didn't help that I shot at least 50-75 rounds per session when I first got it either though.
