Are they still in business. They're webpage is up but it is pretty crappy. I don't think its changed in years. Plus I haven't seen new manufactured ones in a long time.

As far as I know, I believe they still are. It is hard to tell tho. I would assume with the webpage still up and the ability to order accessories is still available that they are. Retailers in Michigan just don't stock them. I have only seen a few and those were at gun shows.

A friend emailed them a month ago and got an immediate reply; he was quoted a pretty astonishingly high price for their basic derringer ($710 +$30 shipping for the Mi45410ST).

wow that's really expensive. I think I would rather get a bond arms basic derringer. but too bad bond arms doesn't make a da38. those are really cool.

The da38. Is a neat gun. It really changed the typical derringer by adding that double action. I wonder if such a gun was inspiration for the heizer defense double tap.

I am glad they are still in business. Lord knows we don't need less gun manufacturers in the us. You don't see to many american made guns these days with all the import offerings. Although there is not any import derringers because of the 1968 gca.

I have seen only one American Derringer and in my opinion is not anywhere near the quality of a Bond Derringer. Yes,it is a nice gun but I like the Bond derringers better.
I will have to give my respect to Ms.Saunders for taking over the company after her husband's passing and faced a lot of challenges from the ATF. She did prevail and I am glad to see that she did.
