I know its all stemming from the awb ban but what the heck is going on. They are not going to ban ammo let alone something like 22 lr but yet I cant find any of the bulk stuff and forget about centerfire ammo. I just wish there was some ammo left so I can do what I love most. Shooting.
Hopefully manufacturers catch up soon.
Anyone else experience this?

Sure seems like there was a convulsive panic that led to all the .22 LR (as well as the more-usual panic calibers) being sucked out of the supply system. I'm just throttling back on the shooting for a bit, though I make it a point to keep on hand more than enough to last me in the event that there's some catastrophe like this.
Interesting to watch human behavior, I guess.

Well its good for the reloading hobby, At my lgs's they have been stocking and selling all kinds of reloading equipment for people. You are kinda screwed in the 22 department, but for center fire and shot shell its growing.

ALL ammo is scarce, as is reloading components, brass, powder, primers, bullets. We are still in the dead of winter so our range time is "frozen". JEFF

I would love to get into reloading. Especially now with shortages and rises cost of ammo. But like jeffchance said components are in short supply. I can always range pick some brass, I have seen a lot of powder. But primers and bullets are no where to be seen.

People are hoarding everything they can get their hands on. Even the most common promotional ammo for shotguns and rimfires has been flying off of the shelves where I live.
Only expensive calibers and the more rare chamberings are staying put right now.

If you have a smart phone, download Walmarts app. Check around 9pm in the evening, it will instantly show anything on the freight truck that night and will be available 7am the next morning.
