I just keep coming back to look at this. Wow. Holy smokes, the new pix of the Hi-Points are amazing as well - you, sir, know your art. And I'm trying to think what I have that I can try to wheedle you into refinishing for me (for pay, of course)! I really am looking forward to your range report - wow, I'm wanting one of those 11"ers now more than ever.

Thank you Erich! I try, airbrushing is pretty new to me. If you're intersted just drop me a PM and I'll see what I can do. Don't want to do something against policy here. I had some others interested in me doing work for them. Because of the way I do this, in an auto shop, sprayed in a heated paint booth, I would have to do several at a time to keep the costs down. Still debating if it is something I want to offer, probably need to see how these hold up first. My next experiment is going to be using a flattening agent in the clear to give the "wood" a more hand rubbed look. I think it may actually look better and more natural. Would love to post some pictures of our other work if the admin is ok with it and can guide me as to where to post it.

Just outstanding work. Truly beautiful. If you wanna post some pics in the general forum. Or you could offer your services with an ad in the market. Or I could try making a new " gallery" category. Haha., any will do.

Admin, thank you guys for the compliments, really!
As to offering our services, it's not something I want to do at this point on a large scale, if one or two would like something done I will have to see how it goes, but not sure it's something I want to do all the time. I want to be fair to you and the forum though, so if it works into something that could be profitable for me I assure you I will do something to support the forum!
Going to post in the general section of some of the cars we have built if anyone is interested in checking it out.

Made it to the range this past weekend. First off, let me say, pulling this puppy out of my range bag caused quite the commotion. There were a lot of questions, etc. Put two 45LC in it, held on with both hands and let her rip. The recoil is there, but being able to hold it with both hands makes it very managable. Also, the recoil is almost straight back into your grip hand, very little rise of the muzzle, maybe because that second hand was there. Shot both rounds, then couldn't get the spent casings out and didn't have anything long enough to come from the muzzle to help push them out, otherwise I would have shot every round I had as it puts one heck of a smile on your face! Once I got home and went to clean all of the guns we shot, it required very little to remove the casings with the cleaning rod. So either I will have to remember to take a cleaning rod with me when I take it to shoot or figure out why the casing are sticking a bit post boom.
